26. DAWE, ( Nee Donaldson ) Elizabeth “Betty” ( 1909- 1994 )

Betty was the only  child  of Captain James Donaldson, Bunbury’s Harbour Master from 1924- 1941.

She was well known for her dedication in collecting donations for the Red Cross, by using her small Goat Cart and travelling along Victoria Street, in central Bunbury, on Saturdays, and at local football ovals.

Betty is interred with her father James, Mother E. Lennox and husband Roger Dawe in the Bunbury General Cemetery.
